Only went for a drink so can’t comment on the rooms but there was a great band on playing improvised instrumental music and the place had a great vibe. Staff were friendly and had a good range of beers. What I call a proper old fashioned boozer.
We had a great evening on two consecutive Thursdays joining in with the sea shanties! We weren't here for long but it easily felt like there's a great community at this pub. Plus they had a stout festival and a cider festival which were great, so it mist be one of the most happening places in Hastings!
Lovely couple of evenings, really good local drinks choices and enjoyed the live band. Friendly atmosphere.
A great Tuesday night out. Ruxley's Crew dancing in a small space, the lovely customers moved to the back to give us room and probably to avoid our always enthusiastic stick welding dances!! Also there, The Woodland Kitchen Band... playing various tunes, traditional folk, great sound. Lovely atmosphere, staff friendly and welcoming.
Great free house pub offering a good selection of cask ales and having a busy music offering. We went to a Sea Shanty evening held on Thursdays and it was great fun and featured plenty of public participation. A really great night has been had!
The pub has wonderful beer garden(s) and very nice interior pub area(s) inside to relax and enjoy your pints. The staff are is wonderful and wonderful musical entertainment on most nights!
